I'm My Own Grandpa

Your wacky hosts at Take This Tune have had a severe attack of the sillies. Maybe last year was just a bit too serious. Old man 2009 has left and baby new year 2010 has appeared which put us in mind of relatives, descendants and the family trees that go with them.

I got mine up way early simply because I had so much fun writing it.

A real case of in-breeding, in the Habsburgs: Charles II of Spain

Jamie,

This last one is from my cousin Darlene in Northern Neck of Virginia. I asked for a Winter Scape, or Christmas related Winter related scapes from family and friends. I had started a blog series of family and friends from around the country for Holiday and Winter Season. And she sent me a photo of her outdoor Christmas Tree...sense we work on our Family Tree together, this is interrelated to your Family Tree theme above. I don't know about being my own Grandpa, but coming out of this area of Virginia in the old days, marrying your first cousin ect...was quite common, to keep the land in the family, through inheritance what not.

My niece Jody who lives in Tacoma, still needs to send me some photos:)
